Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or above in English / Communication / Journalism / Public Relations or related fields
  • Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English (both written and spoken). Proficient in Mandarin would be an advantage
  • Good interpersonal and writing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Package

Job Description:

  • Attend University events to take photos and write the event article for the University website, newsletter, social media and the press
  • Write draft speeches / messages for President and Vice Presidents for University events
  • Ensure articles written are accurate and relevant with appropriate contents and language used and to submit the articles within the stated deadline
  • Do translation and ensure accurate translations of articles / speeches / messages / advertorials
  • Liaise and communicate with relevant internal departments for events and visits
  • Write press releases, do press invitations, send press releases to press and liaise with press
  • Any other tasks as assigned by the University from time to time
