Job Description

• Electrical characterisation experiments: operation of a probe station, electrical breakdown/ failure measurements
• Electrical device fabrication
• Introduction to data analysis of breakdown measurements
• Exposure to the state of the art of electronic technology and materials research, both academic and in industry
• Conduct literature survey on proposed chemistries/ processes/ approaches
• Assist to carry out experiment, acquire and record data
• Perform data analysis and generate technical reports
• Present and discuss with local and overseas project team (Applied Materials USA) on technical progress and future plans
• Resource planning and technical procurement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Materials Science/ Chemistry/ Electrical Engineering/ Physics or equivalent
• Good knowledge of fundamental electronics
• Demonstrated interest in research
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Good multi-tasking skills and ability to set priorities in a fast, dynamic environment
• Good command of oral and written English
• Excellent computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint, and data analysis software
