Are you involved in the development and use of digital technologies and sensors in land-based enterprises? Are you interested in helping students learn these skills?
We are seeking two highly motivated individuals to join our expanding Ag Tech Team - focused on Robots, Drones & Artificial Intelligence - at SRUC’s Barony Campus.
A working knowledge of the application of Mechatronics & Robotics or GIS & Remote Sensing is essential and prior work experience in education, development and/or research in either of these fields is desirable.
In these roles you will:
- contribute to the development and delivery of a vibrant programme of growth for SRUC’s Ag Tech education, training & research capability; contribute to the delivery of the expanding Ag Tech degree; provide guidance and support to enable learners from all sections of the community to be included in education and achieve their potential as successful learners and future citizens; work with the Programme Leader to help identify opportunities to further develop the academic portfolio for national and international student recruitment; contribute, where relevant, to the delivery of wider Ag Tech related research & development, including assisting colleagues with the development and implementation of a wide variety of digital testbeds in south west Scotland.
