SRUC is a widely respected tertiary education institute dedicated to producing specialist research, delivering high quality education and providing comprehensive consultancy services in the rural sector within the UK and beyond. It is one of the largest organisations of its kind in Europe.

Are you involved in the development and use of digital technologies and sensors in land-based enterprises? Are you interested in helping students learn these skills?

We are seeking two highly motivated individuals to join our expanding Ag Tech Team - focused on Robots, Drones & Artificial Intelligence - at SRUC’s Barony Campus.

In these roles you will:

  • contribute to the development and delivery of a vibrant programme of growth for SRUC’s Ag Tech education, training & research capability; contribute to the delivery of the expanding Ag Tech degree; provide guidance and support to enable learners from all sections of the community to be included in education and achieve their potential as successful learners and future citizens; work with the Programme Leader to help identify opportunities to further develop the academic portfolio for national and international student recruitment; contribute, where relevant, to the delivery of wider Ag Tech related research & development, including assisting colleagues with the development and implementation of a wide variety of digital testbeds in south west Scotland.

Informal enquiries may be addressed to Jeremy Taylor, Programme Leader, by email at Jeremy.Taylor@sruc.ac.uk
