About the opportunity

The Faculty of Medicine and Health are looking for an eager Strategic Research Coordinator to join the Strategic Research support team reporting to the manager, strategic research initiatives on a continuing basis. The Strategic Research Coordinator will provide research support across the faculty by assisting with the operational requirements of research staff, initiate service improvements, provide planning to support growth and focus on building and achieving best practice standards.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • respond to inquiries for FMH research information and support
  • advise researchers on guidelines, policies, and regulations
  • contribute to continuous improvement in strategic research support across the faculty
  • organise and manage research engagement workshops
  • provide updates to precinct management, chief investigators, and supervisors about the progress of research programs.

About you

  • a graduate degree in a relevant field with a background in Health or Science
  • experience facilitating workshops/conferences/symposiums
  • relevant experience in a research environment (academic preferred)
  • capable in building and maintaining relationships with senior clinicians /relevant stakeholders
  • experienced Microsoft Office Suite and Sharepoint
  • have excellent written and verbal communications skills.
