We are looking for a proactive and diligent professional to join our Institution as its Digital Transformation Officer, as it undergoes a shift to a centralized university management platform. You will play a cross functional role, and are expected to work closely with the University’s internal team, their partner and any such additional third parties to ensure delivery and adoption of this new system. You will be responsible for understanding the long-term vision of the institution and aligning it with the implementation of the solution, all which will provide you with opportunities to be deeply involved in the continued growth of our institution. The ideal candidate will have a program management mindset and focus on communication, detail, and driving toward results.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Project Management, Digital Transformation, Data Analytics, Digital Innovation.
  • Deep understanding of technology usage and implementation in the Education industry.
  • Strong delivery capability with a focus on technical implementations and enhancements.
  • Independently handling multiple responsibilities and deadlines.
  • Technology leader, and understanding business / technical challenges to implement innovative digital solutions with latest technologies (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Mentoring others in ensuring adoption of the technology platforms.

Skills Required:

  • 6+ years of experience in Digital Transformation or Technology.
  • Experience delivering large projects (e.g., CRM, ERP, etc.).
  • Excellent working knowledge of Salesforce and similar tools.
  • Passion for delivering successful projects; results oriented, with a proven track record of increasing team’s velocity and effectiveness.
  • Experience with C-level client relationship building and management.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain solutions, provide alternatives and have difficult conversations at executive levels.
  • Background in software engineering and/or data analytics.
  • Experience with Salesforce.
  • Experience running internal practices and resource management.

Qualification: Doctoral degree from premier institutions such as IIMs, IITs, NITs, IISc, NLUs etc., or renowned foreign universities in relevant field with exemplary record of scholarly activity for academic positions. Significant and relevant academic / industry experience in a leading university / organization for administrative positions.
