About Ridge View Residential College

Ridge View Residential College (RVRC) is a vibrant “living-and-learning” community of 650 students at NUS. As part of their residency, our students participate in a two-year academic programme that complements students’ majors by supporting four of the NUS General Education pillars. This programme is integrated into the day-to-day life of the College, which has a strong focus on helping students to develop a holistic understanding of sustainability.

RVRC’s strategic goal is to cultivate students who are intellectually inquisitive and future-oriented, and who have strong values. Our students integrate what they learn in academic modules with co-curricular activities, all of which is intended to foster individual and collective growth.  Students enact this goal by applying what they learn in order to contribute to solving problems that matter. Accordingly, we encourage proactive engagement with communities in Singapore and Southeast Asia, as well as with industry and other partners.

Job Description

RVRC seeks to appoint a committed individual to complement our team of residential and non-residential educators, while being able to help shape and influence the direction of the College. The ideal candidate will have a passion for their own field of expertise and we are open to applicants from any academic discipline. However, the successful applicant will have strong interdisciplinary capabilities. We are looking for an individual who works well in a team and is committed to: student learning, supporting students as they transition into university, and preparing them for their post-college experiences.
