The Faculty of Engineering and Science offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes that are widely recognised for their academic quality, innovation and close ties to the industries in which our graduates work. We aim to ensure that we equip our graduates with the skills necessary to succeed in the workplace upon graduation and throughout their professional careers.  Given our recent success in the 2021 REF exercise we wish to maintain our research driven and informed teaching provision and are looking for advanced teacher / researchers / practitioners for to join us for this and all our roles.

The School of Engineering is seeking to appoint a lecturer within the Engineering Management portfolio. The successful candidate will take an important role in the development and delivery of teaching in this area.  Applicants must have the potential or proven ability to develop an internationally recognised research in a relevant discipline, excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

We are looking especially for applicants with experience within the field of Engineering Management teaching and practice; but at this point no specific areas of research specialisation have been defined and we would welcome applications from any relevant engineering background. Although green engineering and supply chain management are emerging areas of interest for us. Preference will be given to candidates who combine excellence in teaching with demonstrated capacity to conduct novel, interdisciplinary engineering research that will expand and complement the School of Engineering’s research strengths.
