Applications are invited for the position of Post-Doctoral Teaching Associate in the Department of Psychology. The post is permanent, full-time and starts in September 2022.

The post holder will engage in teaching, supervision, and administration across our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. Successful applicants should have their PhD in Psychology examined prior to the start date, have experience of conducting high quality psychological research, and have the ability to make strong contributions to our taught programmes at UG and PGT levels. They should be enthusiastic about delivering effective high-quality teaching and supervision of student research projects. The ability to teach on topics relating to clinical psychology would be an advantage.

The post holder will work as part of our academic team in a dynamic and supportive environment that is known internationally for its outstanding research and teaching. There is a strong research environment, with the Department ranked joint 3rd in the UK in REF2021 according to THE. We consistently achieve high levels of student satisfaction in the NSS, with overall satisfaction levels typically over 90% (93% in 2020). There is a strong culture of support for Teaching Focused academics within the Department, with regular training provided and opportunities to engage in scholarship and pedagogic research.

This post is based in Egham, Surrey, where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance of London.
