Job Requirements:

• Master / Bachelor Degree in Library and Information Science / Library and Information Management or equivalent in a related field
• Highly motivated, creative, proactive and committed
• Good writing and presentation skills
• Strong analytical qualities and leadership skills
• Able to formulate, develop as well as execute policies and strategic plans
• Able to work independently as well as in group setting
• Preferably with managerial experience in any academic library
• At least 5 years of working experience in any academic library

Job Description:

• Manage and oversee operations in User Services and Reference Services Units
• Draw up, develop and effectively implement policies / procedures related to library
• Conduct and improve Information Skills Programme for undergraduate and postgraduate students
• Promote effective utilization of library resources among faculties and patrons
• Attend to grievances and concerns of patrons
• Contribute to development and success of the University and Library
• Any other tasks assigned by the University
