Applications are invited for a Temporary post of a Pre-Award Research Administrator within UCD Research and Innovation

The Pre-award Research Administrator will play a key role in providing professional support to the research community at the early stages of the funded research project lifecycle. The post-holder will be a member of the Research Programmes Team. The Programmes Team is the first point of contact for UCD researchers and partners wishing to apply for research funding. The team provides a range of supports for the research project funding lifecycle through the UCD Research Portal including the provision of research funding information, call information alerts, management of the funding call calendar, online help packs, proposal feedback, compliance check and review to final submission and full endorsement by UCD Research. This involves working in partnership with Schools, Colleges and Institutes, other central support units and the Research Partners to ensure that the needs of the researchers are being met in a timely and effective manner. The Programmes Team also works closely with the funding agencies, local supports and grant registration team to ensure effective integration between pipeline, proposal, award, grant and project stages. Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
