Applications are invited for appointments as Post-doctoral Fellow in radiative thermal sciences, photothermal and solar thermal sciences, and solar energy harvesting technologies in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (Ref.: 513814), to commence as soon as possible for one to three years.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or a related discipline, with a strong research background in optics, thermal sciences, energy sciences and/or solar energy technologies; Applicants should be highly self-motivated; have good English wiring skills and communication skills; The applicant is expected to work independently. The appointees will work under the supervision of Professor Xiaobo Yin.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salary tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
