Position overview

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding early to mid career academic to contribute to the Research School of Economics research and teaching agenda.

Our ideal candidate will be supervised by the Director of the Research School and has completed a PhD in Economics, with the ability to conduct applied economics research (any field) focussing on issues pertaining to the unequal distribution of income and wealth. You have an excellent capacity for collaborative research and the ability to work collegially with other members of the Research School of Economics and within the ANU community of economists.

As a College that takes teaching and research seriously we expect you will have research interests relevant to the school and the ability to contribute generally to the intellectual life of the College.

The appointment will be made at the relevant level according to skills and experience of the successful candidate.

This position will be a tenure track appointment to engage a world-class academic for an initial period of seven years, with the option of renewal or conversion at the end of the initial employment agreement
