Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.: 514985), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or equivalent, with a strong background in synthetic chemistry and organic synthesis.  They should have fluency in written and spoken English and Chinese, a strong sense of responsibility, good organizational and leadership skills, the ability to work independently and be self-motivated.  The appointee will work in the research area of Mechanical Bond Chemistry and Transition Metal Catalysis under the supervision of Dr. Ho Yu Au-Yeung.  Inquiries about the duties of the post should be sent to Dr. Au-Yeung at hoyuay@hku.hk.
