The Department is comprised of faculty members of diverse backgrounds, who are active researchers in the fields of Marketing and International Business. The Department (http://www.LN.edu.hk/mkt) is responsible for the undergraduate BBA programme in Social Media Marketing and is committed to producing graduates with a broad-based liberal arts education to meet the challenges of a wide range of business professions.
Applicants should have (i) a specialized doctoral degree in the relevant discipline and (ii) substantial relevant teaching experience for normally not less than 4 years relevant experience (for Lecturer post) and eight years including at least five years of professional experience and a proven research track record (for Senior Lecturer post). Experience in programme administration preferably in tertiary education sector would be an added advantage.
The appointee will be responsible for (i) teaching undergraduate courses; and (ii) performing any other duties as assigned.
The conditions of appointment will be competitive. The rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity and incoming passage and baggage allowance for eligible appointee. Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for up to two years.
