You will provide technical support to undergraduate laboratory classes and for undergraduate and post graduate projects. Although the major role will be to support undergraduate laboratory teaching, you may also be required to undertake experimental procedures in other Mechanical Engineering laboratories in order to support research activities. You will have good communication and IT skills.

A qualification in Mechanical Engineering, or similar discipline, plus some relevant work experience, or learning gained through work experience (including short courses and other formal training) is essential.

Knowledge of composites is desirable but training will be given.
