Senior Lecturer / Lecturer, Anatomy and Physiology

We are now inviting suitable candidate(s) to join us in the School of Nursing and Health Studies for the following post(s):

Senior Lecturer/Lecturer (Anatomy & Physiology) (Ref:22000UD)

Major Duties and Responsibilities

The appointee shall mainly be responsible for the following:

  • undertaking course planning and development;
  • undertaking course coordination, assessments and classroom teaching in Anatomy and Physiology and related disciplines/areas;
  • undertaking/engaging in scholarly activities/academic research and participating in School/University activities and administration; and
  • performing any duties assigned by the Dean

Candidates

Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:

  • a Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Biomedical, Medicine, Nursing or a related discipline;
  • preferably with relevant teaching/professional experience in the areas of anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and microbiology; 
  • preferably with relevant experience in statistical analyses; 
  • track record in relevant research areas where appropriate; and
  • a good command of English and Chinese.

The level of appointment depends on the candidate’s academic background, experience and competence in academic leadership, teaching, research, scholarly publications, etc.

An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
