Research Assistant, Bioelectronics

Job Description

A research assistant position opening for the project involved in the development of next-generation neural electronics with a human-centric approach. The project aims to develop tissue-mimetic neural implants for precision electronic medicine. We are seeking to recruit an excellent research assistant to 

1. Conduct research activities in bioelectronics area 
2. Assisting the PI in the management of the research group and its activities 
3. Preparation of publications and managing other forms of research output 
4. Assisting the PI in setting up a laboratory and essential equipment 
5. Assisting with purchasing of laboratory equipment and consumables

Qualifications

1. The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in and biomedical engineering, material science, electrical engineering, biology or related field   
2. Demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following areas is required: simple electrical/electrochemical knowledge, medical device, material development, basic knowledge of biomedical engineering 
3. Responsible and able to work independently   
4. Prior experience in managing project, laboratory or research funding is advantageous 
5. Excellent communication and writing skills in English
