Job Description
A research assistant position opening for the project involved in the development of next-generation neural electronics with a human-centric approach. The project aims to develop tissue-mimetic neural implants for precision electronic medicine. We are seeking to recruit an excellent research assistant to
- Conduct research activities in bioelectronics area
- Assisting the PI in the management of the research group and its activities
- Preparation of publications and managing other forms of research output
- Assisting the PI in setting up a laboratory and essential equipment
- Assisting with purchasing of laboratory equipment and consumables
Qualifications
- The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in and biomedical engineering, material science, electrical engineering, biology or related field
- Demonstrated excellence in one or more of the following areas is required: simple electrical/electrochemical knowledge, medical device, material development, basic knowledge of biomedical engineering
- Responsible and able to work independently
- Prior experience in managing project, laboratory or research funding is advantageous
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English
