The Department at the University of Southampton is seeking to appoint L5 lecturers in Economics, with interests in economics and econometrics, and a commitment to excellence in research and teaching.
Interviews are expected to be held in June 2022.

About You
Linking to our University Strategy which emphasises the triple helix of Research, Education and Knowledge exchange / Enterprise, you will be able to show the links between your research, education and, if appropriate, knowledge exchange / enterprise.
As a lecturer you will hold a central role in furthering the research of the Economics department. You will have a strong research background and able to evidence a high quality research agenda which will have led you to publish in leading international journals and to contribute to grant applications. Experience of teaching at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels is essential, as is your ability to engage and inspire students and colleagues alike.
Candidates from all fields of Economics with strong research background are encouraged to apply. We particularly welcome applications from candidates with expertise in econometrics with big data, machine learning, finance, behavioural and experimental economics.
The successful candidate will be expected to start in October 2022 (negotiable).
