The Library has an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Customer Services Assistant. Based at Winchester School of Art Library, you will be joining the team at an exciting time as we extend our services to our wide range of users including the Art School and members of the public.
This position offers the opportunity to work in a small team offering excellent service to the users of the library. You will be a positive person, have experience of working in a customer facing role and be an effective communicator.
The library uses multiple IT systems to deliver an excellent customer service. Therefore you will have recent experience of using standard Microsoft software, and feel confident and competent using a range of IT systems and communication platforms.
The successful candidate will deliver a high quality and professional customer service to everyone who interacts with our Library services. You will also form part of the University Library Enquiries team where you will answer customer queries in person, over the phone and in an online environment.
Salary is between £19,209 - £20,600 pro rata per annum with an entitlement to 20 days annual leave per year plus University Closure Days, a contributory pension scheme and a structured training programme.
This position is being offered on a part-time, permanent basis with the following shift pattern available.
Monday - Friday 13:45 - 20:15
