Job Purpose

Supporting excellence in education through administrative success

In conjunction with central teams within BPP University and teams within the School of Business and Technology, you will implement, manage, and enhance all Academic Administration processes within the school. This role is key to ensuring that all regulatory requirements are adhered to in relation to BPP University and external regulatory bodies (i.e., ACCA).

What you’ll be doing

  • Working with the wider Academic Administration team to undertake assessments tasks
  • Managing student queries through the online student query management system
  • Ensuring that data integrity is always adhered to when dealing with assessment tasks
  • Supporting the smooth running of assessment sessions
  • Assisting with the formatting of examination papers, production of assessment marking materials, as well as collating samples for external examiners and professional bodies
  • Booking external examinations for students where appropriate
  • Dealing with student reference requests
  • Coordinating submission links for students to submit assessments and maintaining cohort information in relation to assessments
  • Managing the academic misconduct process within the school
  • Arranging the marking process for all assessments on various assessment software
  • Supporting in moving assessments through the full marking process
  • Attending internal examination boards when required
  • Providing administrative support to the Head of Academic Administration
  • Undertaking any ad hoc duties in line with level of responsibility as allocated by Head of Academic Administration.

Job Background

This role will be on hybrid contract of home and office based working however please note that you will need to attend any of the London
office locations at managers request.

  • Strong administration and organisational skills whilst being able to adhere to processes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible approach to working in a collaborative environment whilst being a great team worker
  • Ability to work alone without supervision
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in using the Microsoft Office suite is imperative
  • Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task when necessary
  • Enthusiastic and people-focussed with excellent customer service skills
  • The ability to deal positively with change
