By working on post- or pre-natal irradiated mice, the candidate will have an in-depth understanding of the mechanism of disease genesis, explore detection methods of radiation, learn disease diagnosis techniques and develop novel therapy to prevent genesis of neurological and neuropsychological disorders from a long-term point view.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Oversee smooth running of a laboratory
- Evaluate health effect of radiation exposure in animal (rodent) or cell models.
- Do histology, immunohistochemistry and molecular biology work
- Culture brain cells to study the molecular mechanisms of radiation-induced abnormal brain changes.
