Staff at the School of Healthcare Enterprise and Innovation are currently working on a hybrid basis. You will be able to work partly remotely or fully office-based. Remote and flexible working will be considered on an individual basis, depending on team roles, locations and logistics.
About the role
There are 7 Administrator positions available; 5 vacancies are full-time and 2 part time vacancies (1 - 0.8 FTE and 1 0.8 - 1 FTE).
As an Administrator you will provide comprehensive, effective and efficient administrative support, including diary management, meetings and events organisation, accurate record keeping and data entry using various electronic information management systems.
You will communicate confidently with a range of external stakeholders, including suppliers, senior clinicians, academics, patient and public representatives. You will also answer queries and act as the first point of contact for generic queries for the team.
You should have sound administrative experience, strong IT skills, and an interest in supporting the development of health research in the UK. You will be joining an enthusiastic and cohesive team who are committed to adding maximum value to the management of health research.

What is the School of Healthcare Enterprise and Innovation?
The School of Healthcare Enterprise and Innovation is home to the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) Evaluation, Trials and Studies Coordinating Centre (NETSCC), and is responsible for managing around £150m of new research funding each year, with an active portfolio of around £1bn. Funded by the Department of Health and Social Care, NETSCC manages six national and international research funding programmes on behalf of the NIHR. The NETSCC contract is the largest enterprise contract held by the University of Southampton and is administered by the School of Healthcare Enterprise and Innovation.
