About the opportunity

InsideOut is Australia's national institute for research, translation and clinical excellence in eating disorders. With resources, rigour and perseverance we aim to transform the landscape for people with eating disorders in this country, and ultimately find a cure. In partnership with the Central Clinical School within the Faculty of Medicine and Health, we are seeking an Administration Officer (Finance) to support the administrative and transactional finances within the team.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • support the daily administrative and transactional financial activities, including Unibuy payment of invoices, raising invoices externally, and liaising with the central finance team for any reporting requirements
  • support the monthly reporting, including a summary of accounts, income reports, and salary lists
  • supporting with project budgets, and preparing budgets for funding bodies
  • organising financial acquittal reports for management.

About you

To be successful in this role, you have:

  • financial administration and transactional services experience gained in a large, complex, and diverse organisation
  • financial management experience and literacy, experience managing budgets and controlling income and expenditure, data analysis and report preparation.
  • strong administrative skills, coupled with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
