Job Description

  • Building a framework for Web-scale data extraction and aggregation
  • Developing front-end site as well as mobile apps for user access of the framework
  • Conducting rigorous experimentations and data analysis
  • Supporting the research efforts of the group
  • Commercializing the technologies arising from the project

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree with high academic standing (1st class or 2nd upper) or Master’s degree with excellent results in Computer Science or a closely-related discipline
  • Prior experience and deep interest in relevant research is highly preferred
  • Competence in at least one major programming language, e.g., Java, C, C++ • Experience and know-how on scientific programming with Matlab, R, or Python
  • Demonstrated understanding of the theories, principles and algorithms in data mining and machine learning
  • Good analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
  • Interest in venture and commercialization of technology
