The Senior Officer, Admissions and Integrity is to provide expert advice and solutions support to Domestic Admissions on Callista and associated business systems and processes. In addition, they retrieve and analyse student data in relation to admissions to ensure applicant records are maintained and assess domestic applications for award and non-award courses.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Provide technical, business and system process support to staff in Student Admissions and RPL
  • Undertake daily integrity analysis of admissions and RPL data
  • Undertake assessment of domestic applications and RPL and assist with the deferral process
  • Perform Student Management System testing for planned upgrades, complete any required testing for the Applicant Portal and any ad hoc changes or fixes which impact admission across the University
  • Work collaboratively with Callista Support, Curriculum, Enrolments, Fees and Deakin International to ensure a seamless applicant experience and delivery of services
  • Undertake clean-ups of Student Management System (SMS) data in conjunction with DSA Quality Assurance group, including the clean-up of Offer Response status for Offers and rolled over Deferrals. 
  • Provide assistance to the Director Prospective Students, Manager, Domestic Admissions and Team Leaders, Domestic Admissions
  • Undertake testing of the Applicant Portal, Callista upgrades and amend the SILK testing steps
  • updating relevant work instructions

To be successful, you’ll have:

  • An equivalent combination of training and experience or a degree with subsequent relevant experience OR extensive experience and specialist expertise or broad knowledge in technical or administrative areas OR and equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.

  • High level attention to detail
  • High level communication and interpersonal skills
