Asia-Pacific Institute of Ageing Studies (APIAS) of Lingnan University is inviting applications for a position of Senior Lecturer / Lecturer to teach health and social services courses and manage research and community projects.

General Requirements

Applicants should (i) have a master/doctoral degree, preferably in Social Work, Social Policies, Health Studies, Nursing, Public Administration and Psychology; (ii) have teaching experiences in higher education; (iii) have experiences in designing teaching programs and courses, (iv) have experiences in writing community grant proposals; (v) be able to deliver courses such as social and community services, social care ethics, welfare management, social services for special groups, program evaluation or social enterprises and (vi) have good organizational and interpersonal skills.

Appointment

The conditions of appointment will be competitive. The rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, mandatory provident fund, gratuity and incoming passage and baggage allowance for eligible appointee. Appointment will normally be made on contract basis for up to two years.
