This is a unique opportunity to have a substantial impact on climate and environmental education both at the University of Cambridge and externally at all levels from primary through to continuing education, utilising the full range of the University of Cambridge's academic resources.

The Education Manager (EM) will engage actively with the Cambridge academic community to help develop and deliver Cambridge Zero's education programmes. They will form part of an education and student engagement team within Cambridge Zero, working closely with the Head of Education and Student Engagement, the Deputy Director (Strategic Development) and the Director.

Cambridge Zero (CZ) is an ambitious new initiative of the University focused on supporting the global transformation to a zero-carbon world. The Initiative's research and educational programmes will be highly multidisciplinary in nature and will seamlessly integrate scientific, technological and humanities/social research themes. Building on the existing strengths of Cambridge, the overarching objective of the Initiative is to provide an unambiguously world-leading research, teaching and engagement programme that delivers impact both to UK and international policies and the technologies that will be essential to deliver a zero-carbon future.

In this role you will help develop, manage, and deliver education activities for Cambridge Zero. You will develop an education strategy, develop and deliver a programme of new education activities, and develop relationships with stakeholders internally and externally.

To perform this role effectively you will have experience of developing and delivering educational content, liaising and working in partnership with external stakeholders, and developing strategy. You will have excellent interpersonal and collaborative capabilities, as well as great organisational skills.
