Teaching loads are comparable to the loads at top international research universities. The Department of Accounting at the Faculty of Business and Economics at The University of Melbourne invites applications for multiple positions across all ranks, i.e., Senior Lecturer (Assistant Professor equivalent), Associate Professor, and Full Professor. Senior Lecturer and Associate Professor positions are tenure-track, while Full Professor positions are tenured.
JOB DESCRIPTION AND QUALIFICATION:
Candidates must hold a PhD in Accounting or equivalent (applicants for Senior Lecturer can complete their degree shortly after commencement). Candidates may have teaching experience in any area of accounting, but should demonstrate a commitment to high-quality, innovative teaching. We also seek candidates who are interested in providing effective engagement with colleagues, students, and the external Accounting profession, and an interest in taking on various leadership and service functions at the department, faculty, and university levels commensurate with their position.
