About the position

As part of its growth strategy, La Trobe University is seeking to appoint two s outstanding scholars in the field of autism research to provide leadership within the world class Olga Tennison Autism Research Centre (OTARC), and to contribute to shaping the University’s strategic vision for research and engagement. Each position will be responsible for leading one of four Research Program areas and co-leading and enhancing the Centre's research agenda. This includes the Centre's culture and its outcomes, staff supervision and mentoring, and progressing the Centre’s strategic research portfolio.

You will be expected to play a significant leadership role in optimising research excellence for the Centre.

Skills and Experience

To be considered you will have an outstanding research record and extensive networks with a range of researchers internationally, industry and agencies. Strong leadership skills and demonstrated experience in securing external funding, as well as fostering collaborative research partnerships are essential.

This is an exciting opportunity for an established and/or aspiring research leader with ambition to grow and shape a team in a novel, innovative and dynamic research environment.
