Research Assistant in Applied Mathematics

Job Description

Job responsibilities mainly include but not limited to the following:

1. Assist in research, including collecting/coding/analyzing data, coordination of research projects, etc;
2. Assist in organizing and coordinating activities, seminars, and different types of meetings;
3. Undertake other assignments assigned by the supervisor.

Job Requirement 

1. Master degree in Mathematics field or related discipline;
2. Familiar with quantitative research methodology, including data collection, cleaning and analysis;
3. Analytical capability and intellectual curiosity;
4. Proficient in Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Project);
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; and
6. Excellent English and Chinese reading, speaking, and writing ability.
