Almost 40% of global energy CO2 emissions stem from the construction or use of buildings and in the UK, the heating of domestic households represents 37% of all heat emissions. To focus our deep research experience in this area the University’s School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment (ADBE) has created a new Centre of Excellence in Low Carbon Construction and Retrofit.  

We are seeking to appoint a committed and passionate academic with a background in construction management, retrofit or a related discipline. You will be an outstanding leader and team player with a positive attitude and vision to help build a unique forward-looking Centre encompassing research, skills, and consultancy to position ADBE as the leading regional provider of low carbon skills and retrofit education.
