We are inviting applications for a post-doctoral Associate in economics / computational social science in the Division of Social Science at NYU Abu Dhabi.

Requirement: a PhD in economics 

The appointment will begin between May and September 1, 2022. The position is for 6 months, renewable. Post-doctoral Associate will work on collaborative research with Professor Etienne Wasmer. The collaborative research will involve co-authoring papers on various project in urban economics, economic history and labor markets. The position does not require teaching. You would be part of a group of over 20 post-doctoral Associate and 70 faculty in the Division of Social Science.

The post-doctoral Associate is guaranteed for two years, and is renewable for a third year depending on performance.

Qualifications

This position requires a Ph.D. in economics or a master degree in economics, computational social science skills (scraping, python, HPC architecture, text-as-data), and evidence of a strong program of high-quality research.
