About the position
An opportunity exists for an outstanding candidate to contribute to the School’s advancement in teaching and research and to further develop our marketing courses and support the delivery of high-quality teaching and research. Play a key role in fostering excellence in teaching and learning and assuring the quality of the academic programs and facilitating student success within the School.
Skills and Experience
As the successful candidate, you will possess a well-developed research agenda and record of research publications in the Australian Business Deans Council (ABDC) ranked A* and A journals in the field of Marketing. You will be able to demonstrate a record in curriculum development and teaching in the field of marketing coupled with academic administration experience. An in-depth understanding of the needs of a diverse range of students, interpersonal skills and the ability to work collegially are key requirements of this role.
Expertise in the areas of digital marketing and social media marketing, marketing strategy, marketing supply chains or sales management is highly desirable.

COVID-19 Vaccination Requirements
The University’s Health and Safety Procedure – COVID-19 Vaccination and Other Measures, requires staff engaged to perform work onsite at La Trobe University to be Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19 unless they are exempt from being vaccinated due to a recognised medical contraindication. This position will require the incumbent to work onsite. As such, an offer of employment will be conditional upon the applicant being Fully Vaccinated against COVID-19 or medically exempt from receiving a COVID-19 vaccination and providing satisfactory evidence of their vaccination or exemption status to the University.
