We have created a new opportunity for a health psychologist with an established or emerging national/international profile.

Your contribution across research and research-led teaching will build on Surrey’s distinctive, world-leading, basic and applied psychological research. This forms part of our School strategy to provide research-led teaching and to develop cross-discipline research that releases the life-long potential of the human brain; addresses inequalities in life course health and wellbeing; embraces changing societies, environments and communities; intervenes to support vital, healthy and creative lives; creates innovative assessment analysis and interventions; influences policy and practice; and educates the professionals of the future. We actively promote interdisciplinary work and have many cross-disciplinary teams in order to build integrated research.

We encourage applications from excellent academics with specialisms in the field of health psychology (accreditation is desirable, but not essential). Within your portfolio you will recruit and supervise research students and, in support of your specific research field, this position comes with the opportunity to apply for a 3-year PhD studentship (to include fees with stipend at standard rate) fully funded by the faculty.
