Job Purpose
Preparing future professionals with one-on-one support
You will support learners on our Financial Services Level 6 and Level 7 programmes in their journey to successfully complete their apprenticeship. With your proven experience, you will help nurture these professionals to develop key qualities through personalised coaching. Through regular monitoring of their performance, you will ensure that each student maximizes their potential.
What you’ll be doing
- Proactively and reactively supporting students requiring additional help
- Providing one-to-one tailored coaching to learners enabling them to maximise their full potential
- Managing a cohort of learners by providing excellent support throughout their apprenticeship programme
- Delivering induction and Industry relevant skills and behaviour sessions both face to face as well as online
- Ensuring all relevant and required documentation is completed within BPP defined timescales
- Working collaboratively with other stakeholders within the business
- Communicating effectively with learners via the VLE and other appropriate tools to encourage learner engagement
- Conducting review/coaching calls with learners and line managers to ensure progression with their studies
- Updating data management systems to show how learners are progressing
- Providing feedback for skills and behaviour development assignments
- Provide academic (both pre-submission via advice on continuous development portfolios and post-submission) and safeguarding support to learners.
Office presence may be required periodically for meetings. (London, Birmingham, or Manchester)

Candidate Criteria
- Relevant Financial Services work experience across Investment, Commercial/Retail banking, Risk, or Insurance
- Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent, possessing teaching/assessors' qualification
- Coaching/mentoring experience both formally and informally
- Ability to use and accurately update data management systems
- Experience of managing stakeholders (particularly customer/client relationships)
- Understanding of organisational capability requirements in specialist area
- Excellent computer/IT skills
- Outstanding presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload
- Ability to work autonomously and manage own workload effectively and efficiently
- Ability to communicate professionally and work closely with and support all stakeholders
- Experience of external inspections such as Ofsted and QAA, is preferred
