With over 150 years’ experience, Cambridge Assessment delivers examinations and tests around the world through our three examination boards, Cambridge English Language Assessment, Cambridge International Examinations and OCR.

As a not-for- profit organisation we employ around 2,500 people and every year, over 8 million candidates sit our exams.

Our main activity is to deliver assessment and influence thinking on educational matters. This is based around our evidence-based research which delivers, tests, qualifications and associated services that are valued by employers, universities, governments, professional bodies and education providers in over 170 countries around the globe.

Cambridge Assessment is a department of Cambridge University, and in recent years our member boards have become increasingly involved in educational reform projects across a variety of regions, working individually or together, providing integrated solutions and test design to curriculum development and quality assurance.

As our exams and qualifications are aligned to international standards and monitored by us, learners and publically accountable bodies can be assured that outcomes reflect the performance of their students and the education system against an international standard.
