Applications are invited for a temporary post of a UCD Post-doctoral Research Fellow Level 1 within UCD School of Chemistry - Centre for BioNano Interactions (CBNI)
CBNI is looking for a Post Doctoral Researcher with research experience in any relevant arena of physiochemical, chemical and biophysical, engineering or related fields, especially applicable to the synthesis and characterisation of complex bionanoparticles, and their interaction in a biological environment. It would be an advantage if the candidate were familiar with advanced analytical and biophysical methods involving protein-protein and other bimolecular interactions. It is also desirable, but not essential, that candidates have experience in working with various biotechnological separation and analysis technologies, and many of the applications involve studies in complex biological milieu.
This is a research focused role, where you will conduct a specified programme of research supported by research training and development under the supervision and direction of a Principal Investigator.
The primary purpose of the role is to further develop your research skills and competences, including the processes of publication in peer-reviewed academic publications, the development of funding proposals, the mentorship of graduate students along with the opportunity to develop your skills in research led teaching.
Salary range: €39,522 - €40,083 per annum
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
