CORE - Clinical Data Coordinator

School of Medicine – Clinical Informatics Research Unit

We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinical Data Coordinator to provide data management support for clinical trials managed by the Clinical Informatics Research Unit.

The applicant should have sound knowledge of clinical trials and experience in managing electronic data in a clinical environment. We are looking for highly organized candidates with great attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in teams. Other skills that would be advantageous include the aptitude to identify problems and deliver their solutions in collaborations with the rest of the team as well as experience of user acceptance testing.

The role is based in the University of Southampton Clinical Informatics Research Unit (CIRU) at Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust. The unit is a growing part of the medical school and part of the CRUK Clinical Centre. We have been working remotely for the past 2 years with meeting once a week in the office, and the expectation is that this will continue as the predominant model.
