About the Role

Reporting to the Executive Dean: UniSA Education Futures, the Dean of Programs will lead the academic quality, performance and reputation of Academic Unit’s initial teacher education programs and courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level, delivered on-campus, online, mixed-mode, offshore, and through partners.

The Dean of Programs will work with the Dean of Research to embed a strong teaching-research nexus in the Unit’s education programs and proactively contribute to the development of research capability through staff associated with the program portfolio. Leading a team of Program Directors, the Dean of Programs will liaise with Government, industry practitioners and accrediting bodies, to raise the profile and impact of the programs of UniSA Education Futures to meet the needs of current and future workforces, nationally and internationally.
