Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Chemistry (Ref.: 512385), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry with a strong background and experience in computational chemistry or related disciplines.  Good organizational skills, the ability to work independently, a strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation are essential.  The appointee will work in an interdisciplinary project involving computational research on the structure, bonding and reactivity of molecular functional materials by using electronic structure calculations, machine learning and artificial intelligence for making qualitative understanding and quantitative predictions of chemistry under the supervision of Professor V.W.W. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
