Description
The Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is the oldest academic unit within the College of Engineering with a long tradition of excellence in academic teaching and research. Its undergraduate academic programs are ABET-accredited and diverse, focusing on computer science, computer, and electrical engineering. It also offers high-caliber Master’s and Ph.D. programs. It has an established record of successful projects in cutting-edge research themes.

Qualifications
A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in related disciplines from an accredited institution is required. Preference will be given to candidates with education from and/or previous service in pre-eminent institutions of higher education.
Assistant Professor - Minimum of 3 years experience relevant to the position and proven research potential.
Associate Professor - Minimum of 8 years teaching experience or postgraduate research experience, out of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
Professor - Minimum of 10 years teaching and postgraduate research experience, out of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Associate Professor and have demonstrated high standards in teaching, advising, and research.
