About You and the Role
The School of Psychology is seeking to recruit an Associate Professor in Psychology with an extensive strategic leadership background in teaching and learning and student experience, contemporary approaches to curriculum development and innovative educational delivery models, comprehensive experience in the accreditation of psychology programs, and in the higher education sector, including the Higher Education Standards Framework. A working knowledge of interprofessional education in the health context is desirable.
The Associate Professor will be expected to make a substantial leadership contribution to:
- The teaching of psychology, curriculum development and quality improvement.
- The research direction of the School, including regular publication in high impact national and international journals and the acquisition of competitive external research funding.
- The supervision of coursework, honours, masters and higher degree research students.
- The administration and development of psychology programs.
- Leadership and contribution to a positive and inclusive work culture
The position is based at the Bankstown campus but multi-campus activities requiring travel between campuses may be required.
Benefits and Perks
Remuneration Package: Academic Level D $182,212 to $200,131 p.a. (comprising Salary of $154,391 to $169,706 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
