Job Description
About this opportunity
We are seeking an enthusiastic postdoctoral scientist to join the laboratory of Assistant Professor Kaiwen Chen at the National University of Singapore (NUS). This is a 3-year funded project that aims to investigate the fundamental biology of cell death and innate immune signalling during inflammatory disease and microbial infection. The successful candidate will work on myeloid cell biology, novel transgenic animals and receive high quality training in a young and dynamic lab.
Terms of appointment
This is a 3-year funded project. Salary package is dependent on experience and qualification.
Qualifications
- PhD in Immunology or related discipline
- Published at least 1 first author peer reviewed research article
- Expertise in innate and cell death signalling
- Experience in molecular cell biology and genome editing
- Experience in microscopy and animal handling will be a plus
- Able to design and conduct experiments independently
