Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance is a contemporary and world-class Higher Education Institution with a vision to redefine the conservatoire for the 21st century. At the leading edge of music and dance training, we provide specialist education of the highest quality, which reflects the increasingly collaborative world of artistic practice and supports the lifelong career development of students and professional performing artists.

With a reputation for innovation and forward-thinking, and as the UK’s only conservatoire of music, musical theatre and contemporary dance, Trinity Laban is internationally recognised as being at the fore front of training in our art forms.

You will have an opportunity to take forward a programme that reaches thousands of artists in the UK and around the world. You will ensure trusting relations between alumni and the conservatoire, creating opportunities to strengthen networks and connections. You will seek ways to support alumni in their careers and to celebrate their success. Your programme will ensure a seamless journey from student to alum which is valued throughout their careers and beyond.

Reporting to the Director of Corporate Affairs, you will lead a small and motivated Alumni Relations team. Working closely with academics and professional departments, you will give leadership to a programme based on strong foundations which, through engagement with a world-wide network of innovative and creative artists and art industry leaders, can have a transformational impact the creative sector and on this conservatoire.

You are confident in your ability to operate at this strategic level and have substantial experience of working with large-scale communication platforms. You will possess the interpersonal skills to build collaborative relationships with individual artists and with alumni networks. To succeed in this role, you will have vision and drive, be responsive and attuned to the creative sector, and be motivated to achieve outstanding results. Your experience and leadership skills will help you to quickly gain trust within the conservatoire and wider networks.

As an equal opportunity employer, we positively encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates regardless of sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, religion or belief, marital status, or pregnancy and maternity.

Please note all applications submitted will be shortlisted anonymously by our recruiting panel, so please ensure that your name and personal details are not included to any of your written answers/ your supporting statement, otherwise we will not be able to consider your application.
