Job Description

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department at United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) invites applications for a research assistant position starting February 2022 to work on a research project in the area of concrete technology. The candidate will support the faculty investigators in various areas of concrete technology, including material characterization, mixture proportioning, performance evaluation, microstructure characterization, etc...

Suitable candidates MUST have:

1. A Bachelor of Science in civil engineering.
2. A Master of Science in civil engineering.
3. Have documented evidence (thesis, journal articles, and/or conference papers) of relevant experience in the field of concrete technology (material characterization, mixture proportioning, performance evaluation, microstructure characterization).

Minimum Qualification

Applicants must have a MSc. degree in Civil Engineering.

Preferred Qualification

The ideal candidate would have a PhD in Civil Engineering.
