As part of our continued growth in business and computing programmes, University College Birmingham is seeking to appoint an engaging and committed Lecturer of Business to join the UCB Business School. 

Our Lecturers deliver inspiring and inclusive Teaching and Learning to ensure all students are supported to succeed.

Subject areas for this post will include:

  • Level 2 and Level 3 Business 
  • Level 3 Business and Finance 
  • Level 3 Marketing and Social Media  
  • Access to HE

We have a strong and diverse team who work collaboratively to help design and teach programmes that maximise student engagement and achieve outstanding educational outcomes. You will contribute to this by demonstrating a real passion for your subject supported by credible industry experience, and the ability to provide well-being and pastoral support to students from a range of backgrounds.

A key focus of this role will be conveying the impact of the changing and challenging external context on the world of business, and preparing students to enter into this environment, equipped to operate at the highest levels.

The post-holder must be flexible in relation to working hours as the role will involve working evenings and occasional weekends. This role also presents opportunities to teach across other UCB Schools and Departments.
