We are seeking appoint new colleagues at the Lecturer/Assistant Professor (Senior Lecturer) level with specialisms in the broad areas of Sustainability and Organisational Studies to join our team as we continue to grow our research, teaching and knowledge exchange activities.

Our taught portfolio includes UG and PGT programmes in Business Management and Human Resource Management alongside a suite of Degree and Higher Apprentice programmes. We have an extensive portfolio of CPD offers centred around our Help to Grow and Restorative Just Culture programmes. Our research activity principally focusses in the areas of Public Policy and Public Management, Sustainability and Business Ethics, Management Learning and Critical Management Studies.

Working within our Department of Leadership & HRM, part of the award-winning Newcastle Business School, you will join a team of nearly 80 academic staff dedicated to advancing the field of leadership and human resource management. You will possess an outstanding record of publications in high quality academic journals and a sustained record of research funding success. You will continue to undertake research and scholarly activities contributing to the Faculty’s research profile and development of its next REF submission, together with contributing to consultancy, enterprise, and other income generation and business development activities.

You must have excellent interpersonal skills coupled with the ability to teach effectively on a range of programmes using a variety of approaches to student learning. You will also demonstrate multicultural competence, including awareness, knowledge and skills needed to work in meaningful, relevant and productive ways with others who are culturally different from you.
