Role Description

We welcome applications from administrators with a background in customer service to join our Admissions team.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the embedded Admissions service located in our academic Schools. You will be the first point of contact for all course enquiries and applications, ensuring that enquiries are recorded and followed up using the university’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system. You will provide administrative support to one of the School admission teams, ensuring that applications and supporting documentation are distributed promptly to team members.

You will also provide advice to prospective students, helping them choose the course that best meets their needs as well as answering questions about studying at Cranfield. The role supports wider recruitment activities such as student ambassador telephone campaigns as well as sending out communications to prospective students to keep them updated about the university. You will support the wider work of the university at major events such as Open Days, Registration and Graduation ceremonies.

About You

You will have a keen attention to detail and you will need to be able to work quickly and accurately. There will be frequent contact with admission tutors, prospective students and sponsors, so you will have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills. Much of the work is computer based, so IT literacy, experience of using databases and the web are essential.
