Job Description
- a) Survey and evaluate existing quality metrics for testing AI systems,especially deep neural networks
- Design and implement new testing metrics and analysis techniques thatcan measure the robustness, safety and ethical properties of AI systems
- Design and implement newstrategies and techniques that can repair and improve the robustness, safety and ethical properties of AIsystems
- Write and publish research papers and present them at reputable academic venues
- Package the documents, implementation code, evaluate results of the project for public release
Qualifications
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Informatics / SoftwareEngineering / Computer Engineering or closely related disciplines from a reputable institution of higherlearning
- First or second upper-class degree classification (or their equivalent), or minimum 1 year of relevantresearch experience in AI, cyber-security, software testing, program analysis, formal methods
- Excellent knowledge about AI, data mining, software testing, program analysis or cyber-security
- Highly fluent in C, Java, or Python
- Competent in designing and implementing algorithms and data structures
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members• Able to work under strict deadlines
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Prior experience as Research Assistant or Research Engineer is preferred
- Research capability as evidenced by tangible deliverables will be advantageous (e.g., publications ortools developed in the area of AI, software engineering, or cybersecurity)
